NACCB National
Home Page
"NACCB is the only national association representing companies
that specialize in providing highly skilled professionals to clients
in need of temporary technical support. To join NACCB, a company
must be in the business of providing, on a contract basis, highly
skilled professionals who are information systems or engineering
consultants, and your firm must fully support legislative and judicial
efforts which protect the freedom of choice to use independent contractors
or employees to provide these services to your clients."
"NACCB was formed in January, 1987, after companies like ours
began, one by one, to speak up. And to speak out. NACCB serves the
exclusive needs of companies like ours. Our membership is not diluted
or distracted by companies that are not technical service providers
or that handle primarily entry-level workers." Our purpose,
simply stated, is:
- To support legislation which will promote the growth of our
industry, including protection of our freedom to choose either
independent contractors or employees to provide services to our
clients;
- To affect governmental and private actions that impact our industry
and to provide our members vital information about those actions;
- To encourage high professional standards in our industry; and
- To support our members as they grow and develop their own businesses.
NACCB provides:
- NACCB Business Manual - which contains easy-to-understand explanations
of post-1986 changes in laws affecting our businesses, like employment
taxes, health and retirement benefits for leased employees, and
time-and-a-half overtime rules.
