* Job Description: Communicate design concepts and technical plans effectively,Construct & evaluate prototypes for meeting design specifications,Lead troubleshooting activities of design issues,Conduct technical design reviews and presentations,Write detailed protocols and reports,Review drawings, create ECO's,Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in product design and development
* Required Skills: Mechanical Test Engineer Position Description: Test engineer responsible for component and system level test design. Elecro-mechanical test fixture design, test method development, and data analysis using Solidworks, LabView, and Matlab. Hands on approach to data taking and analysis (engineers typically take majority of data). Experience with motors, encoders, analog sensors, and micro-processors a plus. Key Points: Bachelors Degree in ME, Electromechanical background preferred. Masters Degree a plus 3-7 yrs experience Thorough and detail-oriented hands on test engineer Experience with: Solidworks Labview MS Excel Lab Equipment: Oscilloscopes Power Supplies Ni-DAQ systems Load Cells Data Analysis & Results presentation Familiarity with standard manufacturing processes (CNC machining, Lathes, EDM, Rapid Prototyping, etc) Nice to Haves: Masters Degree Experience with Matlab Failure analysis Troubleshooting Stepper motors Small consumer electromechanical systems (cameras, cell phones)
