Job Responsibilities:
* Location: Scottsdale, AZ * * Type: 12 Month Contract * * Job Description: The candidate is responsible for embedded SW development for a Software Defined Radio (SDR) and must be able to complete all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements, design, coding, integration, testing, documentation and peer reviews. The individual should have an understanding of processes consistent with managed software development and configuration management (CM) tools (i.e. ClearCase, ClearQuest). The candidate is expected to work in a team environment as well as independently and demonstrate quick comprehension of technical concepts coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills. It is desirable that the candidate has good analytical/problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems as they occur throughout the SW development life cycle. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen * * Required Skills: This position requires a BS in EE/CpE or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of experience. Employee should possess the following: - Experience with RTOS (VxWorks/Itegrity), - Experience with the Visual C++ environment, - Proficient programming experience in C language and have experience in OO design (UML and CORBA experience a plus), - Ability to use lab equipment (emulators, O-scopes, logic analyzers, comm analyzers), - RF/Communications domain experience a plus, - Knowledge of software process and SEI/CMMI levels. Must communicate well and work with several different engineering functional areas. Knowledge of crypto equipment internals is a plus, - Experience with the Rational suite of software tools a plus. - Experience with military waveforms a plus. Employee must be a U.S citizen capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance, and will be required to receive a COMSEC briefing. *
