AZ-Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
* Location: Scottsdale, AZ * * Type: 6 Month Contract * * Job Description: This position will be responsible for development of software for the FCS program. Candidates will be involved in all phases of the development process including but not limited to: requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, integration and systems test, and design support activities. Ability to analyze existing designs and to develop new designs implementing high assurance computer systems is required. Requires ability to manage self effectively and to meet schedule commitments. Requires good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to support work in a team environment. * * Required Skills: Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance is required. Computer Science degree (BSCE/BSEE/BSCS) in software engineering or equivalent experience is required, as well as demonstrated mastery of practical engineering application that is typically acquired in two or more years of directly related experience. Familiarity and experience in each of the following areas is desired; C/C++, real-time development, hardware interface programming, software test and integration, familiarity with software development processes. Experience in any of the following areas is highly desirable: OpenGL programming, Xwindows (X11) & DRI (Direct Rendering Interface), X window manager experience, Linux Device Driver Development, ATI / Nvidia / Intel Graphics (X3500) device dependant code development, USB Device Secure design methodology, Rational Rose Modeling tools, ReqPro or Doors, ClearCase, ClearQuest. *
