AZ-PWB Designer
- Job Responsibilities:
* Location: Scottsdale, AZ *
* Type: 12 Month Contract *
* Job Description: Work with experienced Circuit Designers (Electrical Engineers) and/or Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Designers in creating schematic/logic diagrams then perform component placement and circuit routing to develop printed wiring boards for high reliability electronic hardware. When layout is complete, create PWB product definition (drawings) and CAM outputs (artwork) for board fabrication and assembly. Must have a working knowledge of design and drafting standards. Should have an awareness of simple electronic circuit operations. Candidate will be expected to develop board designs for simple to semi-complex RF, analog and digital circuitry. Will be expected to create CAD library electronic symbols for schematics/logic diagrams as well as the footprints for placing components on the board surface. Will be expected to research, generate, check and incorporate change orders to existing designs/drawings/documents. *
* Required Skills: AA degree in Design/Drafting, CAD Technology or similar field of study required. 3-6 years experience in Drafting / Printed Wiring Board Design field required. Formal training in Cadence PWB CAD tool suite (Concept & Allegro) with minimum of three years direct work experience using the software tool is required. Must be a self-starter and able to exercise initiative and sound judgment in following directions and/or instruction from more experienced personnel. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Good interpersonal and organization skills are a necessity. Candidate must be willing to work extra hours if needed. Candidate must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance. *
