* Job Description: RF Technician needed to support the Radio Products engineering team. Our URC-200 man-portable radio is currently undergoing a refresh development effort. As a member of an integrated cross-functional team, the candidate will support continuing development and production of this product line. Candidate must be a self-starter, requiring little supervision. Good communication skills (verbal and written) are a must. Candidate will also support design reviews, prototyping, design verification/validation, and qual testing. *
* Required Skills: Candidate must have an AS in Electrical Engineering Technology (or equivalent) and 5 to 7 or more years of relevant experience. The candidate must have direct experience with typical RF measurements, such as gain, noise figure, IP2, IP3, selectivity, harmonics, hum & noise, distortion, etc. The candidate should also be familiar with, and be able to troubleshoot, typical RF circuits, such as amplifiers, oscillators, phase locked loops, mixers, filters, baluns, PIN diodes, varactor diodes, and assorted passive components. Familiarity with other forms of analog circuitry (op amps, VOGAD, filters, etc.) is a plus. Candidate must be familiar with a variety of relevant test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, modulation anlayzers, audio analyzers, oscilloscopes, directional couplers, isolators/circulators, power splitters, etc. Candidate must also be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word. LabView experience is a plus. Candidate must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance *
