- Job Responsibilities:

* Type: 12 Month Contract *
* Job Description: Serves as part of a team to support software development, integration and testing activities in a small team environment. Must be able to work independently. Participates in requirements definition, design, implementation, integration, test, and documentation. Regular contact with senior levels of internal work groups within a project and across a single engineering dept. Travel to customer or other General Dynamics' sites may be required. Participates well in team projects and interacts well with others to produce positive group results.
* Required Skills: BS Degree in software engineering 5+ years of demonstrated results, or equivalent experience. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Microsoft Windows programming environments using Visual C++ v6, Visual Studio 2008 (C++), C++, or C# languages. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate a knowledge and/or experience in the following technology areas: Microsoft Windows XP and 2003 Administration and Networking, Microsoft Windows Scripting (WScript), Microsoft Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), Active Directory Service Interfaces (ADSI), Common Information Model (CIM) Standards, and Object Oriented Software Design. Familiarity with WinBatch environment, WIL, WinBatch Compiler, and computer system imaging with Symantec Ghost is desired. VOIP background a plus.
