Job Responsibilities:
* Location: Huntsville, AL * * Type: 12 Month Contract * * Job Description: The successful candidate will support manufacturing with the right material at the right time at or below budget. This includes the procurement of quality material, maintain accurate inventory records, expedite material through the depot, manage GFM, and facilitate shipping domestically and internationally. Individual will have a thorough understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and Inventory Management processes. Support, maintain and verify the integrity of the Manufacturing Bill of Material. The candidate will be required to team with other functional departments Candidates may also be required to participate in the preparation of certifiable proposals, and earned value statusing. * Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years Material Management required. Proficient in Window Office applications a must. Knowledge of MRP systems and the ability to work independently required. Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills required. Individual will be required to interface with other disciplines internal to General Dynamics, General Dynamics' subcontractors, and Government/Customer personnel. Knowledge of IFS and Oracle a plus. Ability to obtain the necessary DOD security clearance required.Must be able to travel 20% of the time. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance
