Medical Device Product Manager

Job Responsibilities:
JOB FUNCTION: Responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for a medical device business line in the Americas region. These responsibilities include involvement in setting the overall strategic direction for those businesses, developing and implementing market development initiatives for the Americas region, meeting revenue & profitability targets and working cross-functionally to integrate marketing strategies with R&D, operations, clinical, regulatory, quality, and sales. Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus. Experience: Minimum three years in Medical Device Marketing with proven success in Sales, Product Management and/or Market Development. Minimum two years experience managing budgets and in supervising both full-time and contract staff is preferred. Skills: Ability to work effectively with persons at all levels of the organization and to represent the organization professionally in the community. Strong oral, written communication skills and sound interpersonal skills. Proven leadership ability with positive, proactive personality that fosters team-oriented approaches to achieving business objectives. Special Training: Working knowledge of both domestic / worldwide markets preferred. Extensive knowledge of sales/marketing strategic planning and program delivery. Demonstrated analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems / develop programs with creativity and good judgment. Ability to assess customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into workable strategy. Willingness to take ownership and accept responsibility for actions and decisions. Demonstrated ability to interact with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness and persistence. Ability to work effectively and comfortably with physicians and other medical professionals, as well as with all functions and levels within the business organization.
