Electronic Technician

 

Position to include the build and test of prototype and production electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies. 

 

Must have basic computer skills; be able to read schematics, solder surface mount packages with the aid of a microscope.

 

Desire the candidate have IPC J-STD-001E certification or OJT in the soldering of electrical & electronic assemblies.

 

Some proficiency in the use of general lab equipment; scopes, meters, microscopes & cameras.

 

Have explosive handling experience or be willing to be trained in the handling of explosive devices.

 

 

Education:  Associate Degree in electronics or applicable equivalent

 

Security Clearance required: Secret or the ability to acquire one quickly

 

Must be a U. S. Citizen and provide proof of citizenship.

 

3-6 month assignment

 

9-80 work week (flexible)
